It’s that time for another Let’s Play! I’ve been busy focusing on my NaNoRenO project, so this will have to be a short one. All the same, I hope you enjoy. ♥
Last week, the Vi boys played (P)lanets – the life of normalcy has ended! They met a colorful cast of characters, and now, they must decide whether the heroine should catch up to a fast walking dude. Let’s see what they choose!
The Let’s Players
Barium of the Vi
Night of the Vi
A member of the Vi. Romanceable in War: 13th Day and the upcoming War (X Playing Pieces). Labeled as the bad boy in War: Valentine Edition.
Onyx of the Vi
The war chief of the Vi. He’s an important character in War: 13th Day, as well as a romance option in War: Valentine Edition and War (X Playing Pieces).
Barium: All right. This is where we were last.
Night: Yes. The suspenseful cliffhanger.
Barium: Indeed! Let’s have her catch up to him. I see no reason for her to stay in his shadow.
Night: Hmm…but if we do that, we might be pushing her towards him. Matchmaking her is one of the goals of this game, isn’t it?
Barium: Oh, that’s true. Then again, what if he likes aggressive women? I sure do.
Night: But he might like submissive women, too.
Barium: Staying behind doesn’t have to mean she’s submissive. It could mean that she just doesn’t care enough about him to walk side-by-side. Like he isn’t her equal.
Night: Well, either way is fine with me. Push her towards him or don’t.
Barium: I don’t think she should be with such a cold person…but I don’t want him to think cute Kazuoki is a pushover either. Let’s have her catch up to him and then avoid him as if he’s a pest.
Night: Let’s do that. Men don’t like it when women play hard to get.
Night: This is a great conversation they’re having.
Barium: Well, hello, Rui. It’s nice to meet you.
Onyx: This is Ruiko, Kazuoki Marin’s roommate.
Barium: You know, doesn’t it feel intrusive? Being in a young lady’s room and eavesdropping on her private conversation.
Night: She invited us in. There’s nothing to feel ashamed about.
Onyx: When Kazuoki Marin enters the cafeteria for dinner, she knocks into Saimori Lucan.
Barium: I think this is the…fifth guy we can pair with Kazuoki.
Night: Fifth? I thought there were only three bachelors.
Barium: What about her best friend?
Night: The one who dresses like a woman?
Barium: And what about the principal?
Night: You mean Kaius’s dad.
Barium: Yes. Or do you have something against his age?
Night: I think the people of her country frown on things like that.
Barium: It’s not like Kazuoki’s a little girl. She’s a young woman. But if that’s a problem, he can always just wait for her to be a little older. If he’s in love, he can be patient. You know when a woman’s worth the wait.
Onyx: Ruiko is happy to see Saimori Lucan, who proceeds to run in the opposite direction.
Night: He sure does.
Barium: What a strange boy. But he seems friendly. He may not be bad for Kazuoki. Him or the principal. Actually, forget about the principal.
Night: Didn’t you say there was nothing wrong with having her be with an older man?
Barium: Except that he tried to push her towards Kaius. He clearly isn’t that into her, and our Kazuoki deserves to be treated like a princess.
Onyx: The next morning, Kazuoki Marin tries to find her class.
Night: So, it’s one of those.
Barium: Unless it’s a trick question.
Night: In which case, the last one is the correct answer. Do you remember what Kaius said when he was giving her a tour?
Barium: That was last week. It’s not exactly fresh on my memory.
Night: Well then, let’s say we don’t remember.
Barium: That’s no good. She’s depending on us to help her remember.
Night: But we don’t. Or, at least, you don’t.
Barium: Are you trying to say you do?
Barium: You’re really helpful. Haah…give me some time to think about it. I’ll get back to all of you next week. Is that fine with everyone?
Night: There you go, addressing the reader again.
Barium: And you can do it, too. Go ahead. Try it.
Night: Bye, everyone. Have a good evening. Or day, depending on when you’re reading this. But the night’s when the fun begins.
Barium: Haha, you would say that, wouldn’t you? Don’t you have anything to say, Onyx?
Now, it’s back to working on my NaNoRenO! As always, you can reach me on tumblr, twitter, or Facebook any time. I’m always open to hearing what you think about my Let’s Plays, visual novels, and anything else that comes to mind.
Have an awesome weekend, everybody. ♥
